FOR FIRST-TIME BUYERS
Buy your first Twin Cities home
without getting ghosted.
You've pictured the front door. What usually stands between you and it is a realtor who's slow to call back. That's not me.

What do I need before I call a realtor?
Not much. Before your first call with Jerome Cunningham, think about where you want to live, when you want to move and what's on your mind about money. You don't need financial documents for the first conversation. He'll tell you exactly what to gather before you talk to a lender.
- Your goals and your timeline, in one conversation
- Every step of buying, explained before it happens
- The questions to bring to your lender, including programs you may qualify for
- A personal plan for finding, offering on and closing your home
FROM THE FIRST TEXT TO THE FRONT DOOR
How does buying a home with Jerome work?
Buying a home with Jerome Cunningham happens in three stages. First, a short call and a homebuyer questionnaire about what you need. Second, a plan for your money questions with a lender of your choice. Third, showings, a negotiated offer, inspection and closing, with Jerome explaining each step as it happens.

FIRST-TIME BUYERS, IN THEIR WORDS
What do first-time buyers say about working with Jerome?
Every time we wanted to see a house he was always ready and prepared to show it to us...
...he was up at like 12 in the morning sending me houses. Jerome was up. He was working for me non-stop...
...he didn't rush us in the process.
THE QUESTIONS ARE PART OF THE PROCESS
First-time buyer questions, answered
Don't see yours? Call or text me at 612-404-9114.
How do I start buying my first home in the Twin Cities?
Start with a conversation, not a house. Call or text Jerome Cunningham at 612-404-9114 or book a call online. He'll learn your goals and timeline, tell you what to bring to a lender, and build a step-by-step plan before you tour a single home.
Can Jerome help me with down payment assistance?
Yes. I'll point you to the programs you may qualify for and help you prepare the right questions for your lender. Each program has its own eligibility, funding and repayment rules, and your lender decides who qualifies. A conversation with me is not a loan approval.
Can Jerome help me buy new construction?
Yes. I've worked with first-time buyers on brand new homes. The builder's sales team represents the builder, so it helps to have your own realtor reviewing the contract, timelines and options with you. Tell me before your first visit to a model home, since some builders have rules on that.
What does it cost me to work with Jerome as a buyer?
We go over it on our first call, before you tour anything. You'll sign a written buyer agreement that spells out how I'm paid. In many deals some or all of that is paid by the seller, but it's negotiated in each offer. [PLACEHOLDER: Jerome or his broker to confirm buyer compensation wording]
How long does it take to buy a first home?
It depends on your money prep, the homes on the market and how fast we move when the right one shows up. Getting your lender conversation done early is the biggest thing you control. I'll give you a realistic timeline on our first call. [PLACEHOLDER: Jerome's typical timeline, documented, if he wants a number here]
Can I learn the process before I commit to buying?
Yes. Start with your questions, or ask about one of my free homebuyer workshops for schools and community groups. Learning how buying works, from offers to closing, helps you decide when you're ready. No commitment needed to book a call with me.
BUYING SOON?
Someday starts with one call.
Ready to move or just ready to learn, the next step is the same. Book a call and we'll map it out.
